Pedro Pascal To Take On The Galaxy In The Mandalorian

While he’s been a formidable mercenary-prince, with an aptly flashy nickname like ‘Red Viper’, in the high-fantasy epic Game of Thrones, Pedro Pascal (Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Narcos) is taking to a galaxy far, far away for his next project.

Set to star as the leading bounty hunter — much like the adored, though very definitely dead Boba Fett — in The Mandalorian, Pascal comes under the House of Mouse’s extensive umbrella for their upcoming Star Wars series, slated for release on their new streaming service, Disney+.

Jon Favreau (The Jungle Book, Spider-Man: Homecoming) has penned the series, which bridges the gap between the fall of the Empire and the rise of the First Order, and notable names like Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), and Deborah Chow (Flowers in the Attic) are all set to direct.

Disney has also recently announced that a prequel is in the works for Rogue One’s jaded intelligence officer, Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna (Narcos: Mexico).
