Full ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ Trailer Shows Adamantium Claws Poking Deadpool’s Balls

Marvel has unveiled a thrilling new full trailer and two posters for the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

The new trailer showcases plenty of Wolverine, portrayed by Hugh Jackman, alongside Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, hinting at exciting new adventures for the duo. It follows the enormous success of its first trailer, released during this year’s Super Bowl, which quickly became the most-viewed trailer of all time within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the new posters have Deadpool and Wolverine from their respective perspectives, with the other’s reflection on the blades and claws respectively. This imagery builds anticipation around their on-screen chemistry and the unique tone of the movie.

Directed by Shawn Levy (Free Guy, Night at the Museum), Deadpool & Wolverine is not positioned as a direct sequel to Deadpool 2 but as a standalone entry that explores the partnership between these two iconic characters. Levy shared his excitement about the project in a recent interview with ScreenRant, stating, “It’s the third Deadpool movie, but it’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool & Wolverine. It’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

The film will feature a mix of returning characters from the Deadpool franchise, including Morena Baccarin as Vanessa, Rob Delaney as Peter, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, among others. New to the cast is Emma Corrin, who will play the antagonist, Cassandra Nova.

As fans eagerly await the release, the new trailer and poster only heighten the excitement for what promises to be a memorable addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), blending action, humour, and the unique flair that both Deadpool and Wolverine bring to the big screen.

Deadpool & Wolverine will open in cinemas on 25 July in Singapore (26 July in the US).
