Amidst this anticipation, speculation has been confirmed: Emma Corrin is set to play Cassandra Nova, the formidable villain and psychic twin of X-Men’s Professor X. This character, emerging from the pages of New X-Men #114, represents a significant addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), marking Corrin’s debut as the live-action Cassandra Nova.
Cassandra Nova’s character is known for her destructive nature and vendetta against her brother, Charles Xavier, having attempted to destroy everything Xavier holds dear, including the X-Men. Her introduction to the MCU could have far-reaching implications, especially with the X-Men lore expanding and the potential lead-up to an Avengers: Secret Wars storyline.
