Netflix has announced that Cobra Kai Season 6, the final season of the popular series, will be released in three parts, spanning over a year. Part one will arrive on 18 July 2024, followed by part two on 28 November 2024, and the finale in 2025, at a date yet to be announced.
Watch the teaser trailer below:
The 15-episode season continues the story of the Karate Kid film franchise, with Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, and Yuji Okumoto reprising their roles, alongside Cobra Kai cast members Xolo Maridueña, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Peyton List, and others. The narrative will follow the aftermath of Cobra Kai’s removal from the Valley.
“Picking up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai—the world championships of karate,” reads the Netflix description.
Netflix’s Netflix Is A Joke Festival recently unveiled more information about the final season, highlighting its super-sized structure and the inclusion of three five-episode blocks. Along with the Cobra Kai Season 6 teaser, Netflix also released new first-look photos:
Cobra Kai originally began as a YouTube exclusive in 2018 before moving to Netflix starting with Season 3 in 2021. Netflix announced the final season earlier in 2023, with a six-month delay for the new Karate Kid movie to allow audiences to watch the show’s conclusion. The season is expected to wrap up both the TV series and set the stage for future projects within the franchise, including a new film.
Fans eagerly await the continuation and conclusion of Cobra Kai, with new episodes arriving this summer and in November, followed by the show’s conclusion in 2025. For now, audiences can view the Season 6 trailer, explore a collection of first-look photos, and stream the previous seasons on Netflix.
