After a comedic trailer, new images to The Marvels have been released and we finally get to see more of our lead heroes in their costumes.
The Marvels is a sequel to Captain Marvel and stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani as Ms Marvel/Kamala Khan and Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau.
In the new images released via Entertainment Weekly, we see all three heroes in their full costumes, as well as photos of Monica using her powers, Carol looking concerned, Kamala by her desk and Kamala and Carol chatting outside.
The new images also reveal Zawe Ashton as villain Kree revolutionary Dar-Benn. While Secret Invasion is still running, a still of Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury has also been released.
Last and not least, fans get a cute photo of Goose as well.
In this upcoming movie, Carol Danvers reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and takes revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. However, unintended consequences see her shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with two other superheroes.
Kamala made her debut in her solo Disney+ series while Monica has made a couple of appearances throughout the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). First as a child in Captain Marvel and as an adult in WandaVision. The movie will see all three women intersect and join forces in order to save the world once again.
The Marvels is set to release in theatres on 10 November 2023.
