Considering how Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Terminator and Sylvester Stallone’s Rambo has never gone toe to toe in a battle before on the big screen, many might still be wondering who will emerge victorious in a battle between the two. As it turns out, we will get to know the answer to that very soon, with Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate.
Developer NetherRealm Studios has released a gameplay trailer featuring the two pop-culture icons battling one another in a gory battle to the death. In the trailer, we get to see two different endings, one with the former Special Forces soldier John Rambo drawing first blood and winning the first round, followed by the cyborg assassin Terminator T-800 winning the next round.
Rambo will be arriving in Mortal Kombat as part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2 on 17 November, which brings with him the ninja warrior Rain and the ravenous Mileena. He will have character skin variants inspired by various Rambo movies such as First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III.
Meanwhile, the Terminator will be featured in Mortal Kombat 11, and will come with the likeness of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger as T-800 in both his younger, leather-clad version from earlier movies, and the older model with grey hair from Terminator: Dark Fate.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is NetherRealm Studios’ upcoming game that promises to offer the definitive Mortal Kombat 11 experience to fans, with the Kombat Pack 1 and 2, along with the previously released Mortal Kombat 11 main game, and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion.
Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is scheduled to release globally from 17 November on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Stadia.
