Hasbro & Robosen Rolls Out US$1,199 Auto-Converting Transformers Megatron

It was about time for Robosen Robotics to roll out a Decepticon, after having released Autobots Optimus Prime, Grimlock and Bumblebee over the years. Unveiled today via the Hasbro Pulse Fanstream, the world’s first auto-converting Decepticon leader, Megatron is the next flagship collectible that’s available for pre-order at Hasbro Pulse and robosen.com now, at a pre-sale price of US$899 for a 30-day window before moving to its standard retail price of US$1,199.

Megatron auto-converts from robot to tank instantly, via app or voice commands (50+ in total). It also sports a new and more fluid bipedal walking algorithm, 112 ultra-bright LEDs, an arsenal of weapons (Energon sword, mace and canon missiles), and a silver-metallic finish. It stands tall at 21 inches and is equipped with 36 servo motors and 118 microchips.
