‘Fallout 76’ Hits 1 Million Concurrent Players In A Single Day

Fallout 76 has done the impossible, and Bethesda has noticed, congratulating the game for achieving a million concurrent players in a single day. From less than ten-thousand concurrent players on average to breaking records, the game is full of surprises.

Since the live-action TV series adaptation’s release on Amazon Prime Video, old and new fans have returned to the games, particularly Fallout 4, Fallout 76, and Fallout: New Vegas. A second season is also in development, with the events of the show canon to the games.

With the games’ increased popularity, Fallout breaks the trend by proving it’s possible to see a surprise resurgence in a game that might not have record-breaking sales figures on its initial release, but just needed more attention from a franchise with plenty of hits.

The tweet went on to add that in that single day, player numbers had crossed “almost five million across all Fallout games”, in a record achievement for the franchise. There’s never been a better time to get into the franchise than now, and if you can’t get enough of the series on Amazon Prime Video, why not try it out for yourself?
