Arnold Schwarzenegger is back on the big screen, and this time as Santa Claus himself, in a new Christmas heist movie at Amazon, The Man With the Bag. Alan Ritchson (Reacher) is set to co-star, with Alan Shankman (Hairspray) directing.
When Santa Claus’ magic bag is stolen, he turns to the naughty list and enlists the help of former thief Vance (Alan Ritchson) to steal it back. Vance, his daughter, and Santa, along with a group of misfit elves embark on a daring heist.
Filming will begin later this year, and while casting details are yet to be announced, Schwarzenegger and Ritchson’s appearances hint at a stacked cast list. This will mark Schwarzenegger’s first appearance on the big screen since Terminator: Dark Fate, though he has been in several recent TV shows, including Netflix’s FUBAR.
The Man With the Bag has a promising premise, but we’ll have to wait until the end of the year to see Arnold Schwarzenegger in action once more.
