Gotta Catch The Best Standing Desks
So how do you revitalise a table design? With the help of some friends, the company moved from plain, black desks to premium wood finishes. Then, they surprised fans in December 2020 when it launched a collaboration that immediately stole the hearts of geeks because there was no way to catch them all. The Pokemon Collection by Omnidesk was nine months in the making, as research and development led to the release of three unique designs from the Pokémon collection – The Evolution, The Classic and The Icon.
Fans snapped up The Evolution, a variant of the Omnidesk Pro 2020 but with a Poké Ball inspired table-top design. The desk features Pikachu, Eevee and the whole Eevee-lution gang, along with various Poké Ball motifs by the legs of the table, showing off the different Balls you can use to capture Pokémon in the series.
The Classic features the three iconic starter Pokémon from the very first Pokémon game – Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur, as well as the latest three starters from Pokémon Sword and Shield – Sobble, Scorbunny, and Grookey.
Lastly, the Icon pays homage to one of the coolest Pokémon ever, Charizard. The Pokémon Icon Desk brings to life the majestic power of the Pokémon, with vibrant shades of orange and black to make this desk an instant centrepiece in any home. It even looks like Charizard is blowing fire onto your work setup.
Revolutionising Ergonomics Beyond Office Workers
After going big with large tables, and larger than life icons on their desks, Omnidesk then went in the opposite direction, when it went small in January 2021, and released the Minidesk, a kids-friendly height adjustable desk designed to grow alongside the little ones. Rather than just shrinking the desk, the Minidesk added child-friendly features, including a revised touch screen controller, a delicate anti-collision system, and a specially formulated Formaldehyde-free powder coat on the tabletops that has led the Minidesk to be certified as Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) free, to give parents peace of mind when their children are seated, whether they are busy playing and studying at the desk.

To complete their kid’s study setup, the company launched its first Melody Kids’ Ergonomic Chair, designed to give children optimal back support when seated. The humble and fast-growing Singapore brand brought its offerings up north, simply because everybody deserves to work comfortably, especially since many of us all over the world have had to work from home.
The launch also includes the key brand features the company is known for – quality service. To cater to the needs of the local Malaysian audience, the team established a curated suite of products based on its best-selling offerings in Singapore, including the Omnidesk Pro 2020 electric standing desk and the Atlas Anti-Fatigue Mat. Other selections, such as the Wildwood Collection and Omnidesk Kenshi will also be made available soon.
With all the achievements, most companies would find it challenging to top itself but Omnidesk managed to level up with the launch of the Omnidesk Ascent, a smart desk for the modern homeowner. Set with a new companion app, Omnidesk Life, the Ascent takes functionality and convenience to new heights, with remote access and control on a mobile device.
