Everyone now knows that if you want to stream anime you head on to Netflix. The streaming service has been amping up its anime collection exponentially this 2022 to include new seasons of popular anime such as JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean and new films like Bubble and Drifting Home – and more!

Hence, it must come to no surprise that more than half of Netflix’s global audience have become viewers of anime.

“Anime is one of the cornerstones of our investment in Japan, watched by nearly 90% of our members here last year. At the same time, interest in anime has grown worldwide, and more than half of our members globally tuned into it last year,” said Kohei Obara, Netflix’s Director of Anime Creative at the AnimeJapan 2022 event.

“From diversifying our slate to bringing back fan favourites, we want to continue growing our members’ discovery and love for anime, both in Japan and around the world with this next chapter of anime on Netflix.”

Netflix has revealed 40 more Anime titles for 2022. Aside from the aforementioned, titles include Thermae Romae Novae, Kotaro Lives Alone, and Rilakkuma’s Theme Park Adventure. If for some reason the anime you’d like to watch is not available in your region, you can always consider using a VPN service.
