In spite of the delay of the Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 movie later this year, no love has been lost for the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. And because many fans will no doubt be stuck at home growing beards, NERV has developed a series of special Eva units to combat the overgrowth on our faces.
To be specific, Schick Japan has announced a series of Evangelion-themed razor blades. There are three models in total: one each bearing the colours of Shinji Ikari’s Eva Unit-01, Asuka Langley’s Eva Unit-02, and a special grey colour representing the NERV organisation.
Each razor blade comes with a moisture package to smoothen (pun intended) the shaving process, a replacement blade, and a trimmer to prune nose hairs and sideburns.
These Neon Genesis Evangelion razor blades are available now. They can be purchased on the official Schick X Evangelion website. Amazon Japan is selling exclusive packages that come with additional items, such as a razor handle, acrylic stand, two replacement blades, and a razor handle. These will retail for ¥3,000 (US$27).
