All The Mandalorian “Baby Yoda” Hasbro Toys That You Can Buy Now, Ranked

It’s 2020 and the Skywalker Saga is over, but for the legion of Star Wars fans out there, we’re still under the spell of The Child. Wait, who exactly is The Child? Probably the cutest thing to come out of the Star Wars franchise… sorry, Porg.

Famously known as Baby Yoda, The Child, as referred to by those behind the hit Disney+ series, has gathered a strong fanbase made up of casual viewers and fans of The Mandalorian. After months of waiting, we’ve bagged four toys and figurines by Hasbro that are big must-haves to snuggle in bed with, rest upon your desks or displayed in your cabinets under bright yellow lights like the star he is. Time Magazine did feature him as People of the Year so it seems only apt.

The smallest figure in our collection, The Black Series The Child Figure stands at a mere 3cm (1.1 inches) and comes with accessories – the “ball” toy that is the knob of Mando’s Razer Crest controller, a bowl of soup and his favourite snack, a frog. For S$19.99 on Amazon.sg, this collectible figure is currently in stock and can be in the palm of your hands (quite literally) by the next day. The Child Talking Plush

As if we can’t get enough of this adorable bean in the form of figures, Hasbro’s rolled out a soft and cuddly talking plush that you can snuggle in your sleep and cradle in your arms like a newborn baby. Monopoly: The Child Edition

But that’s not all we’ll see of The Child. Come October 1, 2020, Hasbro will be bringing out a Baby Yoda Monopoly Board game. This The Child edition board game is a fun family game that features themes and artwork inspired by The Mandalorian TV series. Players can play and move around the gameboard as Baby Yoda himself and follow the actions on Bounty Puck cards. You can preorder this edition of Monopoly on Amazon.sg for S$49.90.

The Child Animatronic Edition

And in the spirit of giving, December 1, 2020 will see the Amazon Exclusive release of The Child Animatronic Edition with over 25 sound and motion combinations. That’s right, for S$119.90 this Baby Yoda can move his head up and down, move his ears back and forth and open and close his eyes. Pat his head three times and he will use the Force before taking a nap as seen in the TV series. The Animatronic Edition of The Child comes with a removable Mandalorian pendant necklace too.

If you’re a die-hard Star Wars fan or have the hots for Mando, you’d be pleased to know that Season 2 of The Mandalorian is still on track for release in October this year and that a third season is in development. Fans can expect some lightsaber action in the coming seasons and Alien’s Michael Biehn as a bounty hunter. And who else to watch these seasons with if not with Baby Yoda.
