It’s rude to keep a lady waiting, and don’t get us started on keeping a Wonder Woman at that. As reported on CNBC, amidst the current Covid-19 Pandemic, Warner Bros. Studios has announced that the Wonder Woman 1984 film will yet again be pushed back to 2 October 2020. This is the fourth time that the film has been pushed back, with the original release date slated for November 1, 2019, before getting postponed to 5 June 2020, and then to 14 August 2020.
Set during the eclectic ’80s, the film will once again be a period piece featuring Gal Gadot as the charming Diana Prince with Patty Jenkins taking the helm as director. The sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman will find Diana facing many new adversaries in the midst of the Cold War.
However, fret not, as unlike many other studios who have decided to release their films on VOD, the studios still intends for a theatrical release for the movie.
