Come Fall 2020, the afterlife in Azeroth will break open, with the launch of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. The eighth expansion to the world’s most iconic MMORPG has no doubt raised a ton of eyebrows, especially with the breaking of the Helm of Domination by Sylvanas Windrunner, and its consequences is a full-blown new area with tons of quests to do and Covenants to join.
For players looking to jump right in, Blizzard has also announced a Collector’s Edition box set for Shadowlands. It is available for pre-order now via the Blizzard Gear Store, and will retail for US$119.99.

Like previous expansions, the World of Warcraft: Shadowlands Collector’s Edition comes with a digital key to unlock the expansion with a 30-day subscription. Additionally, here’s what you’ll get within the box itself:
- Covenant Sigils – Four-Pin Collector’s Set
- Art of the Shadowlands hardcover book
- Shattered Sky Mousepad
- Collector’s Edition Digital Soundtrack Key

Aside from the physical goodies, players who pre-order will also enjoy the following in-game items:
- Ensorcelled Everwyrm mount
- Anima Wyrmling pet
- Vestments of the Eternal Traveler transmog set
- Wraithchill cosmetic weapon
- Eternal Traveler’s Hearthstone
- Shadowlands-Level 50 Character Boost

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands launches sometime in Fall 2020, with the closed beta beginning next week.

Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
