Following the events of Avengers: Endgame and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Sam grapples with the responsibility of the Captain America mantle in a world resistant to his leadership. Yet, he stands prepared for the challenges in the diverse universes overseen by The Watcher.

Season 3, which doesn’t have a confirmed release date on Disney+ yet, promises more fascinating team-ups. A previously released clip already hinted at a collaboration between Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) and Alexei Ivanovich Shostakov, also known as Red Guardian (David Harbour).

What If…?, narrated by The Watcher (Jeffrey Wright), continues its theme of exploring different outcomes for MCU movies, with each episode presenting unique twists. A recurring character is Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), who becomes a Super-Soldier in her universe. Her evolving relationship with The Watcher, assisting in missions where he must remain an observer, adds depth to the narrative.

Fans can stream the first two seasons on Disney+ while awaiting more details on Season 3’s release.
