Netflix Drops ‘Enola Holmes 3’ First Look Alongside 2026 Film Slate

Now that life in the Upside Down is over, Mille Bobby Brown is heading back to the Victorian era. To ring in the new year, Netflix has released more information about its upcoming movie slate for 2026, starting with a first look at Enola Holmes 3.

Enola Holmes 3

The third instalment of the mystery film series is set to premiere this summer, with Brown reprising her role as the titular sister to Sherlock Holmes, played again by Henry Cavill (Man of Steel). This time, the character finds herself in Malta with Louis Partridge’s Tewkesbury, where her “personal and professional dreams collide in a case more tangled and treacherous than any she has faced before.”

Joining the trio in the returning cast are Helena Bonham-Carter (Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) as Eudoria Holmes, the matriarch of the Holmes family, Himesh Patel (Yesterday, Tenet) as Dr Watson, and Sharon Duncan-Brewster (Intergalactic) as Mira Troy. Philip Barantini, known for his one-shot works such as Vertigo Films’ Boiling Point and the hit miniseries Adolescence, is directing Enola Holmes 3, while Jack Thorne serves as scriptwriter.

Netflix Heartstopper Movie

Next on the list is the feature film finale to Heartstopper, the queer youth romance comedy based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series. Slated for release sometime this year, it pits Nick and Charlie, portrayed by Joe Locke (Agatha All Along) and Kit Connor (His Dark Materials), respectively, against the struggles that come with long-distance relationships and the end of adolescence.

“Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Doubts take hold, and their relationship faces its biggest challenge yet,” reads the official logline.

“Meanwhile, their friends are also navigating the ups and downs of love and friendship, confronting the bittersweet challenges of growing up and moving on. Can first loves really last forever?”
