Looks like the gang is coming back together for Deadpool 3! Morena Baccarrin and Stefan Kapicic are reprising their roles as Vanessa and Colossus respectively in the upcoming Marvel movie.
Karan Soni and Leslie Uggams are also returning as Dopinder and Blind Al. Both of these characters have also appeared in the first two Deadpool movies. Baccarin, Kapicic, Soni and Uggams would be joined by newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew Macfadyen.
Of course, it goes without saying that Ryan Reynolds will star in the third sequel as the titular character, with Hugh Jackman by his side as Wolverine.
Director Shawn Levy, who previously worked with Reynolds on Free Guy, will be helming Deadpool 3. Reynolds, Levy and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will serve as producers.
Deadpool 3 will also see the return of writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese who will be penning the script along with Zen Wells.
This is the first Deadpool movie to be working hand in hand with Marvel Studios. The studio only recently acquired the R-rated superhero juggernaut in December 2022. While this may spell trouble for fans who loved the violence depicted in the first two movies, director Levy has assured fans that the movie will remain true to its gritty and violent nature.
Currently, no story details have been revealed. Deadpool 3 is slated for release on 8 November 2024.
