Considering the backlog of movies yet to make their debut on the big screen, Monster Hunter is but just one of the many titles pushed back on the theatrical release schedule.
With the video game movie now slated to release on 23 April 2021, it’s interesting the note that the Monster Hunter movie is actually more or less completed at this point in time. In most instances, video game adaptations are usually pushed out of the door as soon as they are completed.
By scheduling Monster Hunter far into 2021, the movie might not enjoy the ongoing buzz generated by Monster Hunter World: Iceborne which still sees a healthy albeit dwindling player base.
Thus, given the prolonged marketing window, hopefully that could mean that we might even see even more glimpses of the movie as it rebuilds the buzz once again.
