‘Fallout’ Hits 65 Million Views In 3 Weeks

Fallout has done it again. After sparking renewed interest in the games and breaking records for concurrent player numbers going into the millions, Fallout has racked up an impressive 65 million views in just three weeks on Amazon Prime Video.

This puts the series as the second-most watched title on the streaming service after Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, being a hit with the young adult demographic. And just a week after its release, the series has already been renewed for a second season, which will continue Lucy and The Ghoul’s quest into the wasteland, and promises more monsters and featuring iconic locations of the games. Yep, we mean Deathclaws and New Vegas.

Amazon Prime Debuts First Look At Fallout Series

Despite some controversy regarding the timeline of the show and the games, with the series being considered officially canon, that hasn’t stopped fans from continuing to theorise how a second season could pull the curtain back on the big reveals.

“With that post-credits stuff, we really wanted to imply, guys, the world has progressed, and the idea that the wasteland stays as it is decade-to-decade is preposterous to us. It’s just a place [of] constant tragedy, events, horrors — there’s a constant churn of trauma. We’re definitely implying more has occurred,” said co-showrunner Graham Wagner in an interview with IGN, “I would just not treat anything as definitive because, again, everything that we see is very subjective.”

Fallout is now streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
