Kevin Feige Announces Marvel’s The Infinity Saga Box Set, Complete With Deleted Scenes

The Infinity Saga by Marvel Studios is arguably the biggest multi-film franchise in existence since Star Wars, and for good reason. We’re just two months since the end of the 23-film epicness that culminated in Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home, and we’re still reeling from its effects and getting hyped for Marvel Studios’ next phase of movies and TV shows.

Recently, Marvel Studios Lynchpin Kevin Feige went on record at the recent Saturn Awards to announce the upcoming The Infinity Saga box set, which will encompass all 23 movies (most likely in Blu-ray format), with a couple of interesting surprises that will no doubt put a smile on the faces of many fans.

In the announcement, Feige stated that the box set would include several deleted scenes from “The Vault”, which contains additional material that previously went unreleased for a multitude of reasons. Thanks to @BRMarvelNews on Twitter, we managed to get a glimpse of one such scene, specifically the post-credit scene from 2008’s Iron Man.

What was all that talk about “mutants” and “radioactive bug bites”? Surely this must be the reason why this particular take of the post-credit scene never made it to the final cut, as Fox and Sony still had full ownership over the licensing rights to the X-Men and Spider-Man respectively at the time. Though, the recent Sony-Disney drama means the old status quo for Spidey still remains…

But we digress. In any case, this is still a nice touch to all the Marvel fans who have been theory-crafting about the possible inclusion of the likes of the X-Men in the MCU for the last few years now. It seems, that with Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, that prospect seems highly likely now.

More details such as release date and pricing for The Infinity Saga box set have yet to be announced.
