Have a fun beach day as well as geek out at Sentosa Sandsation: MARVEL Edition!
Sentosa Sandsation is a festival where some of the world’s most talented sand sculptors gather and sculpt amazing works of art out of nothing but sand. First started in 1999, the event was brought back in 2017 to coincide with Sentosa’s 45th anniversary. This year, the event is back and bigger than ever, with their MARVEL edition. Working together with the Singapore Tourism Board and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia, Sentosa Sandsation will feature 15 enormous sand sculptures of popular Marvel Super Heroes like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk and more.
This year’s sand sculptures are all done by JOOheng Tan and his team of international sand sculptors. Sand sculptures won’t be the only thing to see and experience at Sentosa Sandsation. Other than the amazing sculptures, there will also be an array of Marvel-themed activities for visitors to enjoy. Find out more about the activities on the official site.
The festival itself, happening from September 1 – 16, 2018, is FREE for locals and local residents when they enter via Sentosa Express or drive-in via car, but to avoid the crowds, we have some passes for 3 lucky winners to attend the special early preview on August 31, 2018.
The 3 winners each will receive the following:
- 1 pair of passes to the special early preview on August 31, 2018
- a Limited Edition Singapore-themed MARVEL Comic Book
