The Gears of War series has a long history, dating back to 2006, and will be gearing up for a Gears 5 this September 10. However, fans can prepare themselves for not just a bloody good time in-game, but also in collectables form thanks to a new partnership.
Statue makers First 4 Figures has just revealed their partnership with Microsoft and The Coalition to create the “best Gears 5 collectables in the market.” And the very first pre-order will begin on the first day of Gamescom 2019.
Eager fans can head to the booth for a ” firsthand look ” of the upcoming statue, likely to be of Gears 5 protagonist, Kait Diaz, as seen in the teaser trailer.
First 4 Figures tend to veer towards the more nostalgic side of gaming collectables, with the Spyro the Dragon from 2018’s Spyro Reignited Trilogy being their latest creation.
This partnership and reveal is the first time the company is doing “a license reveal, a product launch announcement, and a worldwide unveiling all at the same time.”
