It’s been a week since the release of Capcom‘s high-octane demon-slaying hit Devil May Cry 5. We loved it, you probably loved it as well, especially on ultrawide.
And Capcom being Capcom, they’re already prepared to shower their fans with more new (FREE) content, this time in the form of the fan-favourite Bloody Palace Mode set to drop on April 1.
Attention demon hunters! Prepare to get downright demonic because Bloody Palace mode will be available as a free update to all Devil May Cry 5 owners starting April 1, 2019 ????
And just to stress, this is not an early April’s Fools joke ?#DMC5 #DevilMayCry5 pic.twitter.com/fM2DVb7NGd

As with previous DMC titles, Bloody Palace Mode is a gauntlet-style gameplay mode that pits you against unending hordes of demons to stretch your skills to the limit. And, as with previous iterations of Bloody Palace, your scores will be posted on online leaderboards to give you some bragging rights for your exploits in the gauntlet.
Capcom doesn’t hold back with their generosity with the free updates, as we’ve seen in the likes of Monster Hunter World, as well as announcements with the Resident Evil 2 remake.
Also, they’ve emphasised heavily that this is no joke, so mark your calendars for April Fools’ Day.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
