With the final season of Attack on Titan leaving fans gripping their seats with every episode release, the anime is going on a hiatus before returning.
Episode 75 of the final season of Attack on Titan ends with an announcement teasing the continuation of the season with episode 76 titled “Danzai” (“Sentencing”). The release of the second part of the final season is expected to arrive in winter 2022, premiering on the NHK General channel in Japan.
The anime was first introduced back in April 2013 followed by its second season that premiered in April 2017. The first part of the third season launched in July 2018 and the second part in April 2019. As the series progressed, the fandom has been growing exponentially as well. Companies even jumped on the bandwagon releasing video games and detergent inspired by the anime to stay relevant with their audience.
The original manga launched by Hajime Isayama back in 2009 is reaching its conclusion as well in May 2021. Although it is saddening to know that we might not be seeing the tight bond of the survey corps again, the fight for justice is finally within reach.
