The much-anticipated third anime season of Spy x Family is officially locked in for an October 2025 release, as revealed during the Jump Festa 2025 event. Fans of the Forger family can finally look forward to more thrilling espionage antics with a fresh season set to expand the world of Tatsuya Endo’s beloved manga.
The announcement came with an exclusive commemorative visual crafted by Kazuaki Shimada, the character designer and chief animation director of the series, giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come.
Spy x Family made its anime debut in April 2022, premiering its first season in two halves. The first cour aired in spring 2022, followed by the second in October 2022. The second season followed in October 2023, delivering 12 episodes of heart-pounding action, heartfelt family moments, and plenty of comedic chaos.
The franchise also made its cinematic debut with Spy x Family Code: White, an all-original anime film that opened in Japan in December 2023. The movie wasted no time in making a splash, topping the Japanese box office during its opening weekend.
