It seems WWE superstar Sasha Banks will be travelling to a galaxy far, far away as she is reportedly set to star in the second season of The Mandalorian.
Reports of Banks appearing in The Mandalorian first appeared on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast on Twitter, where they cited an anonymous source for the news. Later, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet wrote that he’s reached out to his own sources who tell him that “their information is correct”.
Satin also claims that Banks has already filmed her scenes for The Mandalorian Season Two. If the rumours do turn out to be true, it is still unclear what character she will be playing or if her role will be a major one or if she’s simply making a small cameo.
For those not in the know, Banks has been wrestling since 2010 and has since become one of WWE’s most successful performers in recent years, after signing with them in 2012. She is also a four-time WWE Raw Women’s Champion. She last wrestled in the 3 January episode of SmackDown in a triple threat tag team match which she went on to lose. Since then, she has claimed that she’s dealing with an ankle injury.
Though regardless of whether the rumours are true or not, it seems fans will not have to wait long as season two of The Mandalorian will be premiering on DIsney+ in October 2020.
