Mark your calendars – Season 2 of The Mandalorian officially releases October 2020!
At Disney’s most recent investors call, Disney CEO Bob Iger broke the news that The Mandalorian Season 2 will premiere in October, though no exact date was revealed yet.
However, what we do know now is that The Mandalorian will be sandwiched between two of Disney+’s first live-action Marvel Studios TV shows: The Falcon and the Winter Soldier in August 2020, and WandaVision in December 2020. This is strategic planning on Disney’s end, as they’d want the screentime for each show to be maximised, hence the gradual release of each Disney+ show.
The hugely successful live-action Star Wars spinoff TV series on Disney+ made waves across the world when it released last November (especially with the absolutely adorable Baby Yoda). As such, it was only a matter of time before we get to see the adventures of Pedro Pascal as Mando and The Child once more.
In the meantime, you can look forward to purchasing some awesome toys and merch based on The Mandalorian, ranging from Funko Pops, Hasbro Black Series action figures, to even a 1:1 scale Sideshow Collectibles figure of Baby Yoda.
