After several E3 mainstays have announced that they will not be taking part in E3 this year, it is pretty comforting to know that Ubisoft will be holding its usual press conference once again for E3 2019. The press conference will take place on June 10, 4pm EDT, which is Ubisoft’s usual timeslot.

Though Ubisoft has not announced a location for its press conference, they have been holding their E3 showcases at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles for the past few years. So there is a high chance that it might be held there again this year.

Fans can expect more details on previously announced games like Skull & Bones, the open-world pirate game from Ubisoft Singapore. Watch Dog 3 is also another likely candidate for games making an appearance at the press conference. Although Ubisoft has suggested that Assassin’s Creed will be taking a break this year, we might still get to see it during the E3 2019 press conference as the publishers said thesame thing last year too.

More updates on Ubisoft’s foray into the entertainment world might also surface, with Ubisoft recently announcing that Skull & Bones will be getting its own TV series, and that Just Dance will be getting a movie adaptation. Let’s hope that these game-to-movie/TV drama adaptations will break the “video game to movie” curse and be shows worth watching.
