Resident Evil fans, you’re going to love this one. Capcom confirmed that two games from the franchise are making their way to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with Resident Evil 7: Biohazard being available this July and the Resident Evil 2 remake in development for mobile.
As long as you own an iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, or Mac, you’ll be able to experience the games, which have optimised controls for their respective devices, and a new auto fire gun feature that lets players shoot at enemies after a certain amount of time. Resident Evil 7 also includes the additional content found in the Gold Edition, including the Not a Hero story expansion.
You’ll only need to purchase the game once, as it can be played across your various Apple devices with the M1 chip or later, as Resident Evil 7 supports Universal Purchases. The game will be available on 2 July 2024, and pre-orders will be open soon.
Now you can take your Resident Evil gaming experience on the go with Apple devices, and we’re excited to see how the new feature adds to the overall gaming flow!
