‘Suicide Squad ISEKAI’ Gets Release Date, Streams On HBO Go

Suicide Squad ISEKAI takes on an alternate universe this summer, with Warner Bros. and DC Comics revealing the anime’s release date, and that it will be streamed on HBO Go. First announced in 2023, Suicide Squad ISEKAI is produced by Wit Studio (Attack on Titan) and written by Re: Zero manga author Tappei Nagatsuki.

The series will premiere on 27 June with three episodes, and a voice cast including Anna Nagase (Wuthering Waves) as Harley Quinn, Yūichirō Umehara (Genshin Impact) as The Joker, Reigo Yamaguchi (86 ) as Deadshot, Takehito Koyasu (Attack on Titan) as Peacemaker, Jun Fukuyama as Clayface (Code Geass), and Subaru Kimura (Doraemon) as King Shark among other members of the ensemble cast.

In Suicide Squad ISEKAI, Amanda Waller, the head of A.R.G.U.S., has assembled a group of notorious criminals — Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark — for a mission. These Super-Villains are sent into an otherworldly realm, ISEKAI, that’s connected to this world through a mystical portal, leading them into a land of swords and magic where orcs rampage and dragons rule the skies.
