PlayStation Exclusives, ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’ And ‘Miles Morales’, Are Swinging To PC

PC gamers will soon get the experience the joy of free-swinging through a fictionalised version of modern-day New York City. Sony has announced at the State of Play 2022 showcase that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered from Insomniac Games is heading to PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on 12 August this year. In a follow-up blog post, the developer also confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be coming to PC sometime in the fall.

The original game was first released on the PS4 in 2018, with a remastered version released for the PS5 later in 2020. The latter includes all DLC and some impressive graphical upgrades, which should be carried over to the PC iteration.

These two PlayStation exclusives join God of War, Days Gone, and Horizon: Zero Dawn as part of Sony’s plans to tap into and grow the PC market. It follows Peter Parker at the prime of his Spider-Man career, and delves into the origins of Doc Ock, his iconic nemesis. A sequel to Marvel’s Spider Man is set to arrive on the PS5 sometime in the future as well.

The game’s remastered release on the PS5 was accompanied by Miles Morales. It picks up about a year after the events of The City That Never Sleeps, and follows the titular character’s journey to becoming the newest web-slinger under the mentorship of Peter Parker.
