Pedro Pascal And Ming-Na Wen Give Update on Mandalorian and Boba Fett Disney+ Shows

With The Mandalorian racking up lots of love and accolades from the fans on Disney+, many have expected that Season 3 would soon follow in early 2022.

However, in Variety’s ‘Variety Studio: Actors on Actors’ series, The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal told his fellow Star Wars veteran, Ewan McGregor, that the new season hasn’t even started filming yet.

Since Pascal will be starring in HBO’s The Last of Us, which will start filming from July 2021 to June 2022, it begs the question of whether the new season of The Mandalorian can be filmed anytime soon.

There’s no need to worry about its absence, though, because we still have the upcoming The Book of Boba Fett to look forward to, with series’ star Ming-Na Wen confirming the recent wrap-up of filming for the first season.

The Book of Boba Fett stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen as Boba Fett and Fennec Shand respectively. It’s considered a series on its own and not a sequel to The Mandalorian.

The Book of Boba Fett is slated to release in December 2021 on Disney+.
