Omnidesk is expanding its eco-collection with its new desk, the Omnidesk ChopValue Classic.
A collaboration with sustainable furniture maker ChopValue, the new desk is a mosaic of upcycled chopsticks that seeks to elevate productivity without adding on to one’s carbon footprint. The unique tabletop shares the same strength and tenacity as premium solid woods and looks just as aesthetically pleasing too.
The Omnidesk ChopValue Classic features a warm auburn to bright holding streaks tabletop that is unique in its own way – this is especially since the tabletop are made by diverse types of chopsticks, giving each desk its own unique wood grains and tonal streaks.
The chopsticks come from various sources like restaurants, hospitals and offices, and are later being disinfected and coated in toxin-free resin before being compressed into highly densified tiles by a hydraulic presser. Seeing how this is an effort in sustainability, the Classic can only be produced in micro-batches and not mass-produced like other Omnidesk desks and offerings.
Of course, what makes a desk an Omnidesk is the ability to adjust the height of one’s desk. The Classic is also equipped with the brand’s height-adjustable technology that fans have loved from the ever-so-popular Omnidesk Pro 2020 to the Omnidesk Ascent.
The Classic comes in three sizes – 48″, 60″ and 72″ and retails for S$1,499, S$1,649 and S$1,799 respectively together with the Ascent frames. For the Pro 2020 frames, the Classic retails for S$1,399, S$1,549 and S$1,699 with the same size offerings.
