Zombies multiply and it looks like streamer Netflix is developing an animated Resident Evil CG film to complement its previously announced scripted live-action series based on Capcom’s hugely popular zombie horror video game franchise.
It looks like all the videos have been removed by Netflix. We’ll just have to settle with stills for now.
Not much is known about Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, except that it will revolve around key characters Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy for a 2021 release, as details were shared and subsequently removed by Netflix Portugal.
While there have been a number of actors who have voiced both characters in the series, from Paul Mercier, Matthew Mercer to Nick Apostolides for Leon, and Alyson Court and Stephanie Panisello for Claire, Apostolides and Panissello also did the motion capture performances for the character in the recent 2019 Resident Evil 2 Remake, so here’s hoping Netflix bring the duo back.
