Netflix’s Altered Carbon Season 2 Gets A Release Date And New Cast

After two years of waiting, Netflix has finally announced a release date for Season 2 of Altered Carbon. Announced on Twitter, all 8 episodes of the newest season will be released on 27 February 2020.

Season 2 will revolve around Takeshi Kovacs continuing his centuries-old quest to find his lost love Quellcrist Falconer. Kovacs finds himself back on Harlan’s World with the promise of finding Quell and is drawn into a new mission. His loyal A.I. Poe will be by his side and together they strive to outwit enemies, uncover the truth beneath the lies and answer this: Who is Quellcrist Falconer?

Altered Carbon Season 2 will be bringing on a bunch of new faces. They’re still your favourite models, just back in new sleeves.

Anthony Mackie – best known as MCU’s The Falcon – will assume the role of lead character Takeshi Kovacs and Simone Missick (Luke Cage) will play Trepp. Dina Shihabi will play a new android named Dig-301, Torben Liebrecht is Colonel Ivan Carrera, James Saito is Tanaseda Hideki and Lela Loren will play Danica Harlan. Reprising their roles in this season will be Renée Elise Goldsberry as Quellcrist Falconer and Chris Conner as Edgar Poe.

The first season of Altered Carbon was highly-engrossing and was jam-packed with tons of action, beautiful visuals, dark humour and unapologetic portrayals of sex and violence. With the release date looming closer, we’re hoping we’d get to see a sick trailer dropped soon.
