Following the release of its public demo, made-in-Singapore indie title SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure has received an official release date. The co-op cooking adventure is slated for release on 13 March 2025 on PC via Steam, with console versions following in the coming months.
Alongside launch details, local studio kopiforge also dropped a new trailer showcasing an adorable art style, fishing and hunting fun, various equipment upgrades, recipes for Southeast Asian delicacies like pineapple fried rice, mango sticky rice, and sambal kangkong, and more.
“SEDAP! is a co-op cooking-combat adventure that combines the chaos of a collaborative kitchen and the wonders of adventuring into an unexplored world,” reads the official trailer description for the game. “Embark on an exciting culinary journey, whip up delectable delicacies, and serve your way through a fantastical reimagination of Southeast Asia!”
In it, players take on the role of Som, the Cooker, or Gon, the Hunter, as they explore three unique biomes. The free-to-play demo, released earlier during Steam’s Cooking Fest, features the first six levels of the title and a special level at the end.
SEDAP! A Culinary Adventure — meaning ‘delicious’ in Malay, one of Singapore’s main languages — will arrive on 13 March 2025. The soundtrack is composed using traditional Southeast Asian instruments, with more regional influences infused into the game itself, including mythology references and native plant or animal species.
