Geek Unboxing – Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Avengers: Endgame Stormbreaker Electronic Axe

It’s been more than a year since the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes put a stop to the Thanos in Avengers: Endgame, but fans are still fawning over that iconic fight scene between the Mad Titan and three of the Avengers’ figureheads.

Of course, many will remember Captain America proving his worthiness to wield the mighty hammer Mjolnir alongside his vibranium shield for the first time. But how can we forget the awesomeness that is Fat Thor and his equally-powerful lightning-infused axe, Stormbreaker?

You have asked, and as such Hasbro has heard your call, with the newly-launched Marvel Legends Series Avengers: Endgame Stormbreaker Electronic Axe. This is a 1:1 scale replica of the very same hammer forged by the giant Eitri on the star Nidavellir in Avengers: Infinity War, and it looks just as awesome as it does on the big screen.

With an axehead made of Uru metal and a shaft made from the sturdy arm of Groot (okay, let’s just pretend this plastic is made of all that), it’s the perfect roleplay item for any who deem themselves worthy of splurging S$229.90.

Like with all Marvel Legends premium electronic roleplay items, Stormbreaker does come with sound and lighting effects, and requires three AAA batteries to be able to be used. A simple swing of the axe conjures some flashing LEDs and crackles of thunder, making you feel like a God of Thunder.

Just… remember to go for the head.
