German shoe icon Adidas continues to knock it out of the park with their recent collaborations. Ranging from the likes of Marvel to Naruto, the brand has combined their signature kicks with the hottest properties in entertainment. That is set to continue with the Star Wars x adidas Nite Joggers, with both an R2-D2 and Stormtrooper inspired designs.
The Star Wars x adidas R2-D2 Nite Joggers is a loving homage to everyone’s favourite tin can in the franchise. The signature white and blue colourway is complemented by red hits around the shoes, together with silver leather overlays, labelled tongue tabs, insoles, and finished off with the classic white BOOST midsole.
Sporting a low-key black and white colourway, the Stormtrooper Nite Jogger adds grey suede and reflective hits to complement the minimalist vibe, with the BOOST midsole accented by diagonal blue stripes on the heel.
What will likely be most divisive is the inclusion of Star Wars motifs at the back, with both “Open the blast doors!” and “Set to stun” adorning the kicks.
The two pairs of kicks are expected to release at retailers and on Adidas’ website in anticipation of the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker on December 20. It is likely to be the same collection as the awesome looking X-Wing UltraBoosts that were spotted earlier.
