Collabs are the name of the game when it comes to marketing these days. And, adidas is no stranger.
Fresh off their efforts with Game of Thrones this year, and with Naruto in the pipeline, we have visibility on their next work.
Featuring the perennial favourite Ultra Boost range, adidas has opted for the suede and leather variant when it comes to marketing their latest Star Wars collab.
The sneaker features all the essential motifs when it comes to Star Wars and is definitely classy. Standouts include the X-Wing Starfighter embossed onto the heel counter and white Boost sole. The adidas X-Wing Starfighter sneaker also features a special insole, co-branded shoe tongues, “The Force Will Be With You Always” emblazoned on the heel-stripe, and the symbol of the Jedi Order to top it all off. With colour inspired by the orange jumpsuit, this entire package is so well put together.
These kicks are going to sell like hotcakes but the only thing missing we can see is the iconic S-foils which gives the X-wing their iconic look. Regardless, with the fuselage at the side, it’s instantly recognisable by any Star Wars fan.
We expect these sneakers to release later this year leading up to the December 20th 2019 premiere of The Rise of Skywalker, and we should expect more Star Wars x adidas collaborations to be unveiled.
