We know what that means, when a new dog is introduced at the end of the trailer, it could mean John’s current dog could have met its demise at some point in Chapter 4, which means bad bad news for the bad guys. Judging from the insane action in the final trailer for John Wick: Chapter 4, we are expecting the headcount to trump the previous three movies.
The film is already expected to run almost three hours long, which is the longest in the franchise.
Fans will be excited to see new faces joining the cast, with Bill Skarsgård (It, Hemlock Grove) taking on the role of the antagonist known as The Marquis. The fourth film also brings in a highly-anticipated fight between action stars Donnie Yen (Ip Man, Mulan), playing Caine, and Hiroyuki Sanda (Mortal Kombat, The Last Samurai), who will be playing Shimazu.
The movie’s synopsis reads:
John Wick (Keanu Reeves) uncovers a path to defeating the High Table. But before he can earn his freedom, Wick must face off against a new enemy with powerful alliances across the globe and forces that turn old friends into foes.
John Wick: Chapter 4 will arrive in theatres on 23 March 2023.
