Creative Assembly is next in line to offer up a free Steam game to add to your library during the COVID-19 pandemic. Total War: Shogun 2 is a real-time and turn-based strategy game set in 16th Century Feudal Japan. With review scores averaging at 90% back in 2011 when it released, this will definitely deserve a spot in your library if you’re a strategy game nut and don’t own the game yet.
You can download and keep Total War: Shogun 2 for free from Monday, 27 April 2020 (18:00 BST) until 1 May 2020 (18:00 BST). If you download the game for free during these 5 days, it’s yours to keep.
The past few weeks have presented unimaginable challenges for many of us, but the remarkable collective effort being made by the global community to overcome this moment of adversity has been truly inspirational.
With this in mind, we want to continue to encourage you all to stay home and save lives by extending a gift to everyone to help make this difficult situation a little bit easier.
Everyone at Creative Assembly is now working from home, and we hope that this will help everyone with that stay home mission – #StayHomeSaveLives.
