Are you a fan of miniatures and anime? Then you’ll be pleased to know that a diorama theme park in Japan will be opening its doors in 2020.
Small Worlds Tokyo is reported to be the world’s largest indoor diorama theme park, with an 8,000 square meter indoor facility and will include several areas such as the Kansai International Airport, the International Space Center, the city of Tokyo, and even popular anime classics such as Sailor Moon and Evangelion Neo-Tokyo 3.
Most of the miniatures will be functional, such as the rockets in the Space Center capable of taking off.
The theme park will be based in the Ariake district and will have special tickets that allow visitors to place their personal model figures, made using a 3D printer, in any area they like.
