D&D Live 2020 Event Geeks Out Hollywood Celebs & Wrestlers To Roll Dice Together

It’s that time of the year again when Wizards of the Coast stages their next Dungeons & Dragons livestream event to introduce their new RPG books. More importantly, however, it’s also the time of the year where they invite some of the biggest names in Hollywood to bring out their inner geek and crank that up to eleven.

D&D Live 2020: Roll w/ Advantage will take place from 18 – 20 June, and will be a fully-digital event, unlike its previous instalments, due to social distancing measures still taking place in the US. That said, it won’t stop WotC from bringing Hollywood movie stars and even WWE wrestlers to the virtual tabletop. The event will be held to raise funds for Red Nose Day to aid children affected by COVID-19 in the US.

The three-day event will feature games starring quite a lot of familiar faces. The likes of Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World), David Harbour (Stranger Things, Black Widow), Thomas Middleditch (Silicon Valley), and Karen Gillen (Avengers: Endgame, Jumanji: The Next Level) will all assemble to roll dice alongside Matthew Lillard (Scooby Doo) and Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil, The Punisher).

But that’s not all. Remember Paul “Big Show” Wight’s appearance back in D&D Live 2018? Well, the WWE superstar’s presence attracted more ring brawlers to come and hone their face or heel skills at the virtual tabletop, including Alexa Bliss, Tyler Breeze, Dio Maddin, Ember Moon, and Xavier Woods.

D&D Live 2020 will be streamed daily from 18 – 20 June on the official Dungeons & Dragons YouTube and Twitch channels. The first day will begin at 10am PT/ 1am SGT (the next day), with the next two days beginning at 9.30am PT/12.30am SGT (the next day).
