‘Chainsaw Man’ Manga Part 2 To Commence In Japan July 2022

Denji’s adventures will soon continue. Ahead of its anime adaptation, Chainsaw Man is set to return with a second manga part on 13 July 2022, with Shonen Jump Plus offering the new chapter on the same day for Japanese audiences. A worldwide release hasn’t been set, though assistant editor-in-chief Yuta Momiyama stated on Twitter that the manga will continue to serialise on MANGA Plus. It will be available in English, Spanish, Thai, French, and Portuguese.

MAPPA (Jujutsu Kaisen, Dorohedoro, Attack on Titan The Final Season) is helming the upcoming anime, which is slated to drop later this year. The story follows Denji, a young man who fuses with the Chainsaw Devil Pochita and thus is able to transform into Chainsaw Man, as he works for the government’s Public Safety Devil Hunters alongside folks like Makima, Power, Aki, Himeno, Kobeni, and Kishibe. Together, they fight against various devils who threaten the lives of the innocent.

The first part of the Chainsaw Man manga ends with the suggestion that Denji might be able to pursue a different sort of life in its second part, and we’ll have to see how it all pans out when July arrives. Despite the vague Summer 2022 release window, anime fans will also have plenty to look to, with the latest trailer promising glorious gore, trippy visuals, and psychological horror elements. It’s energetic, chaotic, and utterly wild, and audiences will be in for a real good time when finally premieres.
