Chadwick Boseman Honoured With Posthumous Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman is set to be awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Marvel star, who passed away in 2020 following a private battle with colon cancer, will be honoured with a star in the category of Motion Pictures next year.

Boseman was best known for his acclaimed role as T’Challa in Marvel’s Black Panther, the first superhero movie to earn a Best Picture nomination. His final performance as T’Challa in the Disney+ series What If…? earned him a posthumous Primetime Emmy Award.

He also led movies 42 and Marshall. The actor also received a posthumous Oscar nomination and Screen Actors Guild award for his role as Levee Green in Netflix’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom.

Other stars that will achieve a star next year include Michelle Yeoh, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Christina Ricci, Ken Jeong, Kerry Washington, Gwen Stefani, Eugene Levy, Mario Lopez, Sheryl Lee Ralph and more.
