Just earlier this year, it was announced that Frank Herbert’s classic novel Dune will be adapted for the silver screen once more with a reboot set to release this December.
The reboot stars Timothee Chalamet (Interstellar) as protagonist Paul Atreides. Joining him are Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy), Josh Brolin (Avengers: Endgame), Stellan Skarsgard (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Oscar Isaac (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Fallout), Javier Bardem (Pirates of the Caribbean: Salazar’s Revenge), and Zendaya (Spider-Man: Homecoming).
After a first look of Chalamet as Paul Atreides, and the Sandworm, we finally have our first trailer for the film and it looks EPIC!
The reboot will be directed by Denis Villeneuve, the director behind Arrival and Blade Runner 2049.
Dune is set to premiere in theatres on 18 December 2020.
