Haley Bennett (The Magnificent Seven, The Girl On The Train) is the new addition to the awaited Borderlands movie. Although it’s still unclear what her character has in store for us, it is said that she will be the “key to the past of Cate Blanchett’s character, Lilith.”
In the game that the movie is adapted from, Cate Blanchett’s character, Lilith, is a siren, one of the few people in the Borderlands universe that possess magical prowess. It is a possibility that Bennett’s character may have an involvement in Lilith’s abilities.
Bennett will be joining the star-studded cast of the Borderlands movie alongside Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hart as Vault Hunter Roland, and Jack Black as Claptrap, just to name a few.
Directed by Eli Roth (The House With A Clock In Its Walls), the movie was first announced back in February 2020, with no release date confirmed yet. With such a talented crew and cast, we can’t wait to see what they have prepared for us.
