The Rumbling will return with the first part of Attack on Titan Final Season Part 3, and Uniqlo is looking to welcome the anime back in style. The apparel and lifestyle brand is releasing a t-shirt collection based on the highly-popular series, and it’ll be available sometime in mid-March.
The line-up consists of eight different designs featuring classic quotes and moments from past seasons, as well as iconic panels from later manga chapters. Signature elements, such as the Survey Corps’ Wings of Freedom emblem, are included alongside some familiar faces, with fan favourite character Levi Ackerman getting two designs to call his own.
The Attack on Titan x Uniqlo collection will be up for grabs online and in-stores for S$19.90 starting mid-March, just in time for the release of the anime’s next season. While the first half of Final Season Part 3 is airing in March, the second half currently doesn’t have a confirmed date. With its release window set for 2023, however, there might be a second wave of shirts when the later part of the year rolls around, similar to how Spy x Family got a follow-up collection to celebrate the premiere of its second cour in late 2022.
Written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan follows Eren Yaeger, who vows to exterminate the Titans after they bring about the destruction of his hometown and death of his mother. The series ran from 2009 to April 2021 in Kodansha’s monthly magazine Bessatsu Shounen Magazine, and has received four anime seasons to date – the first three by Wit Studio, and the fourth by MAPPA, the studio behind anime hits Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen.
