In today’s pop culture scene, it’s hard to not find a toy counterpart of the property you love. And no brand is more synonymous with modern collectors than Funko. The vinyl figures and bobbleheads are dominating the toy market, and almost every big entertainment property gets their own line of Funko figurine(s).

While retailer exclusives are par for the course, and can often lead to hikes in the resale market, this new wave is particularly troublesome for global collectors, as the glow-in-the-dark Thor is an Asia exclusive.
Singapore-based distributor, Simply Toys, recently launched the figurine to much fanfare, with it being sold out in the first weekend of its appearance. A quick search on eBay subsequently yielded exorbitant prices ranging from US$80-130, in comparison, it was sold at SG$25.90 with purchase of any Funko product.
That can be a high price to pay, and if you have qualms about buying on eBay, we have some great news for you! With the launch of their new Funko-specific website (currently in Beta), Simply Toys will start selling the Asia exclusive online starting March 24!
The whole package will set you back SG$99.90, but thankfully, it contains much more than a single Funko figurine, with an additional Mystery Pint Size Heroes and one Mystery Exclusive Funko POP! Shipping will be handled by FedEx, although countries outside of Australia, USA, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and China might be subjected to extra costs.
